Msgr. Bruno Maggioni, biblical scholar

  1. The Christian is just the thing that has unified the entire life of the apostle Paul preach Jesus Christ.
  2. Proclaims a gospel that aggregates. He loves his Church and invites men and women to join. However not announce his Church, but the Lord Jesus
  3. It carries a message that saves. He knows that the deepest need of man is the encounter with God and know that Jesus Christ is the full answer to this need.
  4. He strives for the liberation of the whole person from sin, hunger and oppression, and also from that too well, unfair and wasteful, distracting from God and makes a blind eye to the poor.
  5. He wants the true salvation. Not content to treat the symptoms, down the causes. It does not simply offer help that leave the poor in dependency, but does everything to become involved. And is convinced that this is important to announce the happy news to the poor of God's love that helps them regain their dignity.
  6. Lives of the universality of the Gospel. And 'intolerant of any closure, has the flavor of the encounter with the distant and different. Urges his community to assess the problems and decisions universalistic perspective. It creates and collaborates on all efforts to weave relationships with other churches and with other peoples.
  7. Solidarity with the situations in which they live and the people next to him. Does he care for everyone at home is attentive to the whole family, so in the parish, school, factory and in any other environment nobody is a stranger.
  8. Remember that Jesus has given priority to the last, shows that the first is the universality of solidarity with the very latest. In a society often indifferent quickly notice the past, often hidden.
  9. Since announcing a truth that is uncomfortable, the Christian missionary, who is a man of peace, conflict and provokes reactions. This pained him, but does not stop him. Find the courage, like Jesus in communion with the Father and in solidarity with our brothers and sisters.
  10. And 'awareness of the requirement of consistency, but does not have the anxiety. Poses no consistency in their right to proclaim the Gospel, but in the faithfulness of the Lord who calls him to this. Moreover, he speaks of himself, but only of what God has done for all. So even if the sinner can speak.
