Who is:
Sister Mary Giancarla was a missionary in the Czech Republic from January 1996 to July 3, 2011. And 'member of the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of Mary of Galeazzo, once called "Mantellate", which is inspired by the ideal of evangelical and apostolic life of the Order of the Servants of Mary (OSM), with three fundamental characteristics: Marian spirituality , fraternal and service life.
She was born in Caldogno February 16, 1945. At 18, in 1963, entered the Congregation. The Sisters were Mantellate Caldogno for many years with various activities: took care of the kindergarten children, girls in catechesis, formation of youth as a presence and promoting spiritual side of Catholic groups, ran a textile factory wanted to Caldogno by Don Emilio Menegazzo to give work to young people of the country. Besides all these services, the Sisters welcomed into their home children orphan, needy families or refugees. From 1963 to 1968 with 7 girls Caldogno were received into the Congregation of the Servants of Mary.
The years of training to religious life were spent in Galeazza, Bologna and Rome. In Rome he also obtained the qualification as a teacher of kindergarten and at the same time was able to make a first pastoral experience with children of the "shacks" of the neighborhood where the community was located, simple experience, but for her very significant. Until his departure for the Czech Republic has served in several parishes, in kindergarten and in direct ministry with children and young people: the Veneto, S. Vito Leguzzaro and lever Montecchio Precalcino, in Emilia Romagna, at Tenth St. John Persiceto and Renazzo (FE).
A Dobra Voda ("good water"), dicoesi of Ceske Budejovice in Southern Bohemia has lent his service in the parish and taught religion in kindergarten and early elementary classes.
Sister Giancarla she returned to Italy July 4, 2011.
Now work in the parish of Dueville, diocese of Vicenza, together with other sisters, to provide pastoral care.
