PROJECT "UGANDA"
The project is proposed by Sister Lucia Comberlato, Comboni missionary in Gulu in Uganda.
The dire socio-economic situation left by the guerrillas, who has been raging in the region, can not find a starting point of redemption in the education and training especially in the younger population and support to those small productive activities that can make the situation Ugandan women.
The project "Uganda" so he wants to ensure support for education and human boys / girls, believing that schooling and education are important to get out of poverty.
With this project we will take charge of the maintenance of normal boys and girls with giving assistance to the family of membership as are people who have a variety of discomforts caused by the war, forcing them to leave everything and move to refugee camps to escape the hostilities.
Coupled with the proposed school will also want to support women who are dedicated to the creation of some artwork, including pictures and greeting cards made with banana leaves, necklaces made with paper and painted over the beautiful batik. Although this is meant as a way to help, giving them a job that takes joined the Church and to have a livelihood.
The entire project is followed directly from our Sister Lucia Comberlato that will operate in Uganda by supporting and deserving people who will get the good results, ensuring that they continue to walk with the Catholic Church. Sister Lucia also use part of the funds donated for the support in situations of hardship, such as AIDS patients or other difficult situations.
Sister Lucia thanks all people who want to be sensitive to Caldogno his project, which will alleviate and uplift his people, who live in the area of Gulu in Uganda.
